What is the best/easiest to use digital camera?

Question by Todd: What is the best/easiest to use digital camera?
I have a Canon EOS Rebel T3. It is a good camera but I was wondering if there is a better camera for use with instagram application? I live in Tokyo and walking all day with a bag to house such a big camera can be cumbersome and tiring so I usually leave it at home. Is there a smaller digital camera that might be a little smaller while still have great quality?

Best answer:

Answer by Martin
All cameras have a completely auto setting which makes them easy to use. The thing which gives your T3 such high quality pictures are the large sensor and the high quality lens. If you go too small then you will end up with a much smaller sensor, which will reduce picture quality.

You could look at something like the Sony RX-100, which is a fairly large compact camera with a reasonably large sensor, but which should be quite a lot smaller and lighter than your T3. That is getting very good reviews at the moment.

What is the best quality digital camera?

Question by ganja's my cologne: What is the best quality digital camera?
I'm looking for a great camera that makes you look exactly like how you look in the mirror. I'm tired of those cameras that make you look different than you actually look!

Answer by origamimark
It is very hard to digitally reproduce realistic natural colours, lighting conditions and so on, so don't expect too much.

Canon make a fine range of digital cameras, but your best bet is to go along to your local camera shop and try some out.

How do you photograph stars and the moon with a digital camera?

Question by flyddw: How do you photograph stars and the moon with a digital camera?
Using ONLY an automatic digital camera, what's the best way of taking pictures of astrological stuff? No telescopes or zoom lens beyond 135mm. I can place the camera on a tripod and take long exposures (< 10 seconds). Current camera: Sony DSC-F828, but the question is really aimed at ANY digital camera.

Best answer:

Answer by Eugene N
Without a motor drive to follow the proper motion of the stars you won't get much more than streaks for the stars (star trails). Even so, you may have to push up the sensitivity of the CCD which will mean more noise. You can shoot the moon but you'll get a small image that you'll have to edit to a larger size. By the way, I think you mean astronomical and not astrological stuff.

Do you know of a digital slr camera that can attach old lens from non digital slr camera?

Question by Sean D: Do you know of a digital slr camera that can attach old lens from non digital slr camera?
I know generally the camera has to be of the same brand; ie. Canon lens for a Canon camera. I was just wondering does anybody know of a digital slr camera that can do this.

If not, maybe you can tell me which camera you have and if it is good or not.

Thanks alot.

Answer by creature
All Pentax DSLRs can use any pentax lens EVER made.

Also the IS thing the guy below mentioned. However, keep in mind that old Pentax lenses were made for 35mm SLRs, the equivalent to full frame cameras today. Pentax doesn't have full frame cameras yet, so images'll be cropped.

What is the best digital camera for a concert?

Question by the_hills_fan19: What is the best digital camera for a concert?
I'm looking for an affordable digital camera to take pictures for mainly concerts.

If you own a camera that you suggest, could you attach a picture from a concert that you have attended so I can fully see how well the camera is?

Thanks!

Best answer:

Answer by hotzelj
It really depends on two things 1) where you sit, and 2) is it dark in the location.

However, basically all cameras will be good. You'll just need to set some settings such as speed and flash/lighting. If you have a zoom lens, and you sit way back - use that.

What is a good digital camera that isnt to expensive ?

Question by : What is a good digital camera that isnt to expensive ?
Im looking to buy a new camera and I don't know much about cameras. I am looking to spend 300 at the most. I also am looking for cool features.

Best answer:

Answer by NickP
With your question all you are going to get are: "this is what I bought, you should too!"

I would suggest you go to the amazon.com web sit and enter in the search line: digital cameras under $ 300.00
Then compare features: narrow your choices down to 3 cameras. THEN re ask this question with I like these 3 cameras, which is the best photographically (or you could list your favorite thing you like to photograph).

What is the best digital professional camera?

Question by MurphysGirl: What is the best digital professional camera?
I am wanting to purchase a high tech digital camera to start a photography business. I know there are many opinions and options about the best digital cameras on the market, but what I need to know is other's opinion on what camera offers the best bang for my buck? Personal experience with cameras would be wonderful!

Best answer:

Answer by NO N
Well first ask yourself, what kind of photography will you be doing? Sports and actions pro's like Canon, while nature and landscape pro's lean more toward Nikon.
I own Nikon and the biggest reason I chose Nikon was for the lenses. You can use any (most) nikon len on any (most) nikon camera. In fact Nikon is the only camera that does that. And the lens are backwards compatiable.

So i dont know much about cameras so i decided to ask for your help. I've been researching many cameras but still have no idea which camera to buy. The two i've looked at the most are Nikon Coolpix S550 or Cannon Powershot SD790 IS or Cannon Powershot SD1100. The main thing i want is a camera that has amazing picture quality. Also price is not an issue for the most part. What do you suggest?

Best answer:

How can I view images downloaded from the internet on my digital camera?

Question by Infernote: How can I view images downloaded from the internet on my digital camera?
I downloaded an image onto my digital camera, (nothing else is on the camera) and it says no images are available, why is this and how can I fix it?

Best answer:

Answer by fhotoace
Are you saying that you copied someone else's image you found on the internet and copied it to your memory card? That is a copyright infringement for sure, so stop doing that.

Since memory cards are only temporary storage and hold the images produced by the camera, you should not be surprised that a foreign image cannot be seen by your camera. In fact even if you try to copy one of your own images to the memory card, you camera will not be able to see it.

How can i get the brokeh effect with a digital camera?

Question by BETSEYY JOHNSON FAN: How can i get the brokeh effect with a digital camera?
I do not have a digital slr camera. Just a digital camera. I really want to take pictures with the brokeh effect. here are the details about my camera

Canon - PowerShot 12.1-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera - Red

Model: SD780 IS

Is it possible with this camera?

Best answer:

Answer by ?
Unfortunately, it is probably not. The sensors on most compact digital cameras are so small that they have a large depth of field even at the largest aperture (lowest f stop number). To test this, put the camera in aperture priority mode, zoom the lens all the way to its widest setting, and choose the lowest aperture number you can, which is probably f2 or f2.8. if you can't see a shallow depth of field effect (bokeh) in your backgrounds with that setting, your camera can't achieve it. If you can't afford a dslr, you can fake the effect in photoshop with the gaussian blur tool.

good luck!

How does the fujifilm S3200 Digital Camera compare to the nikon D3100 camera?

Question by : How does the fujifilm S3200 Digital Camera compare to the nikon D3100 camera?
Which is better? Which camera takes better picture quality..especially potraits of people .

Best answer:

Answer by Veato
Depends who is using the camera.

The larger sensor of the DSLR should at least help with overall IQ but ultimately how good the portrait looks depends on the person pressing the shutter.

I wouldn't generally compare a bridge/compact camera to a 'proper' DSLR with decent lens though.

Any suggestions on what digital camera I should buy?

Question by It's a new day: Any suggestions on what digital camera I should buy?
I don't know much about cameras. I'm going to be taking a lot of pictures and want a good quality camera that takes clear pictures. I don't really want to spend more than $ 300.00 on a camera. Any suggestions on what camera would be the best?

Thanks

Best answer:

Answer by fhotoace
There isn't much but for some "bridge P&S" cameras that fall within your budget of $ 300

Clear pictures has all to do with YOUR skills, NOT the camera you buy

Look on this site for such cameras.

on point and shoot cameras, the farther you zoom, grainier they become, and the more quality you lose. I'd go with the S1000fd.
