I want a nice camera. I have the budget for a camera no more than 600 dollars. I want them to look professional. It's just a hobby of mine and I am just wondering what camera is the best out there, well the best for 600 dollars.

Look at the Canon EOS Digital Rebel Series (XS, XSi, XT, XTi). They're great entry-level DSLRs with sharp image quality and great reviews.
Also look into the Nikon D5000, D3100 and D3000. They are the Nikon version of the Rebels and are just as good (plus HD video).
Also buy a lens. DSLRs come with 18-55mm lenses, but you may want something a little more or a little less.
