I need a camera with super zoom (10x optical or more) and great macro quality. Nothing too fancy, I'm not a professional photographer. I would like the price to be under $ 350. I also need a camera with a rechargeable ion battery pack, not double A's. Thanks!

Sony Handycam. Under $ 150 and has 14x optical zoom.

What about something like a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 - $ 311.98 on Amazon, but probably available cheaper if you shop around, or buy second hand.
