  1. that depends what happened to your camera? do you have a memory card in the camera

  2. If your camera has a removable memory card, then the picture should only be on that card. So, you can just take that card out of it before you get it fixed!

  5. they are on the memory card...

Take your card out and use some card reader to see the pictures on it. You dont need the camera to get the pictures on to your computer....

The pictures are stored on the lil card you place inside not in the actual camera. You can insert these cards into a printer (photo printer) if it has the capablilites for this or buy a new camera and still have access to the photos saved on it.

  9. Nothing would happen because the pictures should be on a memory disk that you got. :)

  10. Take the memory card out. Doesn't it have one that can come out easily? They should still be saved, but if work is done on it when they're still inside then they might get erased.

ha ha ha...can I guess what happened? You were at a party, everyone was having a great time, some people got naked, you took some pictures, then dropped the camera? Am I close?

If you can, take the memory card out.

Probably it will be cheaper to buy a new camera anyways though.

  12. If you are using a memory card simply take the card out of the camara before you bring it in for service.
If not, then tell them you want the files erased which they may be able to do right on the spot while you watch.
Chances are the digital information is still present.

  15. As long as the card is not damaged and you don't reformat the card everything will be OK. You should take the card out if it is removable and put it up.
