I need to take pictures remotely on a point and shoot camera. Is there an off the shelf item? What are some cameras that support this feature. It can be wire or wireless. Thanks!

Some do, but you will have to do the research.
My old Nikon Coolpix 990 had an optional remote control. Others do too, but you will have to drill down into the various camera descriptions and look under the accessories list of each camera

Nikon P7000 and P7100 support the ML-L3 infrared remote.
ReplyDeleteYes. You'll have to look hard for it. To start your search, I suggest typing just the general camera line not a specific model so for Sony, type "Cybershot remote". Here are the other brands.
