What's a good camera for a responsible 12 year old who has had a camera before and wants to be a photographer when she gets older?

Get the cheapest dSLR from Canon, Nikon or Pentax and take very good care of it. It will be your ultimate toy that will be your primary tool when you get more serious.

Canon Rebel XS is a good canera for beginner.It is easy to use amd take professional look pictures.
