What is a good camera to buy that takes pictures and films.?

Question by Cash: What is a good camera to buy that takes pictures and films.?
I need a good camera that can take quality pictures and quality film. And I would like it to be in the $ 200-$ 400 range.

    I must recommend you a camera for $ 475, it's so worth the extra $ 75 dollars, it's very great for your price range, although I did go over.
    Canon T3i. 2nd best camera ever xD

    dSLR cameras can shoot stills and video (you need to read the links below)

    Film cameras are either 16 mm or 35 mm and ARRI and Panavision are the most used.

    At the moment Amazon has the Panasonic LX7 marked down to $ 300. A premium compact digital, it does not have a lot of zoom range, but it does have above average image and video quality, and a lot of manual control.

    Video, not film. Digital cameras don't film.
