What is the difference between the pinhole camera and the camera obscura? Are they just the same thing, but with different names??

The pinhole camera records the image on film (and is very portable)
The camera obscura were first actual buildings (not that portable) and later small portable devices used by artists for tracing subjects prior to producing paintings or other hand drawn art.
